He witnessed his 1st homicide at a very young age when his father took his mother's life in his presence. Growing up without his biological parents created a desire in him to have children and give them the love he yearned for.He served the government in various capacities from the age of 17 as a civil service electrician, police officer and soldier. As an officer he once again witnessed humans inflict unnecessary pain on one another sometimes in the name of love. Then he was given orders to leave for war in Iraq where the possibility of having to deal with loss of life on a greater level really concerned him. War is unfortunate whether it's a husband against his wife or two nations.He had great difficulty in relationships culminating in sickness and even contemplating suicide at one point.Luckily he found a workable system that helped him understand what was going on and it eventually created this book. Witnessing a friend place her husband before anyone else really opened his eyes to another way to love and created many questions which were answered for him with this work.
