Unbound. Zustand: Fine. Printed ticket. 3.75" x 2.25". Neat ink number, else fine. Ticket for a tour of Daevid Allen and Gong, a quasi-mystical science fiction band with an amorphous lineup and with something of a cult following. Includes a reprint of a New York Times Review by John Rockwell of a performance at CBGBs which describes their earliest incarnation as "an anarchic, communal European progressive, jazz-rock band." It goes on to say that this incarnation of Gong is New York-based "under the wing of Giorgio Gomelsky and his Zu 'alternative production lab'. The central figure is an 'interplanetary poet' named Daevid Allen." Founded in 1967, and still active, according to the Wikipedia: "Gong is a Franco-British rock band formed by Australian musician Daevid Allen." An interesting and little known musical effort in some ways reminiscent of Crass.

paperback. Zustand: Fine. Un fumetto . Cm 17,5x14,5. pp. 12. . Ottimo (Fine). . . . Book.

Erstausgabe
Unbound. Zustand: Very Good. Tabloid format. One folio leaf folded to make four pages. Age-toning to cheap newsprint paper, small splits at the fold, very good. Apparently issued to coincide with a tour of Daevid Allen and Gong, a quasi-mystical science fiction band with an amorphous lineup and with something of a cult following. *OCLC* lists several sound recording for Gong, and some Daevid Allen poetry, but little other printed material concerning the band.
