Jaromir Tomecek [Czechoslovakia (Czech and Slovak: Ceskoslovensko, Cesko-Slovensko) was a sovereign state in Central Europe that existed from October 1918, when it declared its independence from the Austro-Hungarian Empire, until its peaceful dissolution into the Czech Republic and Slovakia on 1 January 1993]. Illustrated by Mirko Hanák (26 June 1921 in Martin - 4 November 1971 in Prague) was a Czech painter, graphic artist, and illustrator who became famous mainly for his distinctive illustrations and lithographs with natural themes.
