Green cloth with yellow lettering, logo and image to fr. and yellow sp. lettering, clean and bright, sl.touch of rubbing to extremities and sp. lettering. 116 pp. + 2 pp. tipped in typescript headed 'Bibliography' and in ms. ' to 2nd Edition reprinted July 1944' with numerous references alkl lacking pub. date + (4, series list) + a blank leaf apparently never bound in before end-papers. The insert is a little puzzling as this is the 2nd ed. and no indication it ever had such a bibliography, so appeared in 1944 reprint onlu. 12 cm x 16.5 cm.

Red cloth with yellow sp. lettering, yellow letterinbg, logo and image to fr., clean and unworn bar rub top sp. but marred by some patches of pigment loss towards edges, mostly quite faint but a few severer spots to back outer edge. 60 + (4, series list), internally clean, tight and unmarked but faint hint of edge tanning in places and one incipient, very secure, thin gutter opening. Hafiz was an early 14th century Sufi. Apparently very scarce - no web-matches for any pre-1930 edition at time of listing. 12 cm x 17 cm.
