All three volumes uniformly bound: half bound in tan leather over textured green cloth boards, gilt titles red leather spine labels, five raised bands to spine. All edges gilt. Pink patterned endpapers. Large and heavy 4tos. Boards are rubbed all round edges, leather scuffed and cracked along spine joints, heavily rubbed at spine heads. Hinges cracked. One plate and one page loose in volume II. There's some gentle edge wear to leaves in places and some faint and occasional spotting. A very heavy set of books.
