The spine strip has darkened and the top and bottom edges are a little frayed. The front board is mottled with small, dim spots. The back board and adjacent edge of spine strip have seven places of thinned cloth, 1/8 in. to 3/4 in. The largest ones have darkened. The text block ends and parts of the endpapers have darkened.
