Saddle stapled printed paper wraps, 12mo (7-1/8 inches [18.2 cm] tall), pp. iv, 58, "First Edition" stated on copyright page, illustrated with an iconic silhouette of Gandhi on the front cover. Volume with light marks and soil, a crease to upper corner, Bombay bookseller's rubber stamp at foot of inside back cover and penciled price of "40 np" to ffep. The wisdom in this little booklet - as with Gandhi himself - is held in a small and unassuming package. Both had an enormous impact, to say the least. Volume No. 2 in a projected series of ".titles of topical interest.". An original first edition printing from February, 1959 and not the more common 1970's reprint of the same title.
