Presume 1st ed. 47 pp. (English text) + 45 pp.(Arabic text reading right to left obviously), 18 photo-plates of documents repeated in each half, these being of originals from the Omarite Covenant of Omar Ibn El Khattab (Mohammed's companion) dated 15 A.H. down to the 1950s. Fairly faint round red stamps of the British Consulate General Jerusalem' top front cover and occasionally throughout. The is clean and unmarked (bar an ink date correction in the same place in each half) internally. Printed orange card covers clean and unworn except for a bump to bottom front corner of spine which is fairly innocuous (a short tear has been mended). This concerns the Abyssinian Orthodox church's complaints of ill-treatment particularly by the Coptic Church 'from which our community derived its spiritual authority'. Cover also has Muslim date 1378 H. Philibbos was The Bishop of the Abyssinian Church in Jerusalem. Apparently very scarce.
