Loosely inserted letter to Sir Marrack Goulding (1936 Ð 2010) : 'Thank you for honouring the Higgins family.' from the Commanding Officer and Professor of Naval Science at Miami University. Goulding was the UK's Ambassador to Angola until 1985, and Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations until 1997. He wrote a book about his time at the UN titled 'Peacemonger'. Latterly he became Warden of St Anthony's College, Oxford. Very good indeed.
