Portrait frontispiece of Kitchener and with many photographic plates plus plans and maps that number 33 and then there are 2 large folding maps of Egypt and the Sudan at the rear of the book.Please also note that Wingate was was a British General and administrator in Egypt and the Sudan.During his long and distinguished career he was awarded many honours including the GBE and the GVCO.
