A literary review magazine, published in London. This issue featured work by many writers, including Francis Hope, Geoffrey Grigson, James Reeves, Roy Fuller, G.S. Fraser, Karl Miller, Clive James, and Russell Davies, amongst others. Published by The Review, 1971, London, first edition. A very good paperback with printed card wraps. Spine a little darkened, and with slight wear. Mild bumping. Text clean and bright. Soundly bound. No owner's marks. Text in English. 88pp. Dimensions: Approximately 202mm high x 140mm wide x 7mm deep, Weight: Approximately 115g.

Softcover. Zustand: Near Fine. Illustrated stiff wrappers perfect bound with blue plastic fastener. No place, no date but circa 1978 from internal evidence. 75 pp. Illustrated with photos. Near fine. Rare, privately produced biography of Singer, songwriter and actor Dick Haymes (1918-1980). A native of Argentina though with an Irish mother and English father), Haymes was one of the most popular male crooners of the 1940s and early 1950s. He sang with the Harry James "big band" orchestra and in 1942, he replaced Frank Sinatra in the Tommy Dorsey band. In Hollywood he appeared in a number of moveis including "State Fair" and from 1944 to 1948 had his own radio program "The Dick Haymes Show" carried first on NBC and later on CBS. We find no listings anywhere for this biuography.
