Much of the artwork was originally prepared for David McClintock's " A New Illustrated British Flora, Volume 3" which was not published.

A broad miscellany of line drawings of mostly unusual alien (non-native) plants that occur in the wild in the British Isles and for which diagnostic, botanical drawings are difficult to find in the literature available in a typical small botanical library. Purple pictorial card wraps. B/w illustrations. 466 pages. Book has been read and spine condition is evidence of this in that it has become concave. Spine is faded as are cover edges. Contents are clean. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched!
