Sie untersucht außerdem die Verbindung zwischen dem Film Stranger Than Paradise von Jim Jarmusch und der Politique des Auteurs. Besonderen Wert für die vorliegende Untersuchung und auch für eine allgemeine Annäherung an den Auteur hat die Arbeit von Fernando Ramos Arenas. Fernando Ramos Arenas beschäftigt sich in seiner Diskursanalyse Der Auteur und die Autoren, Die Politique des Auteurs und ihre Umsetzung in der Nouvelle Vague und in Dogme 95 (2011) mit dem Begriff Auteur und unternimmt den Versuch, die Geschichte des Autorenkonzepts bis in die Gegenwart sowie ihre Umsetzung in den Filmen der Nouvelle Vague und in Dogme 95 nachzuzeichnen.
