The sad eyes of a little girl, lifted toward the lens for a second, reflect the stars on our country's flag, while seeming also to reflect the darkness of the morning wrapped around her. Looking at them one has the feeling that perhaps America's air is blowing fresher; that at last American hearts are undergoing a needful dusting. In many ways this is happening.
