Book in three parts, with front board and a couple of leaves completely detached and another complete split halfway through volume; leather worn and very mottled (possibly water damaged at some point), with lettering completely disappeared; internal text very largely clean and bright, with stitching quite tight within each portion. Vellum. Zustand: Very Good. 424pp. + Index. St. john's Square, Clerkenwell. Vellum covered boards with gilt spine title and decoration, marbled endpapers and page edges, the vellum is pulling front the interior of the boards causing some cracking to the endpapers. Pages are almost without foxing. MC.
