Beige cloth with spine titled in red and black and pictorial cover onlay repeating the jacket design. Owner stamp and name on front fly, binding tiniest bit cocked, and bottom corners just worn through, near fine in a toned, about very good dust jacket with short chips and tears.

Main problem however is that front joint has become loose, internal gutter split now cosmetically sealed but the textblock shakiness remains. Nonetheless an excellent reference/working copy of this historically important text providing position statements by leading psychological theorists; notable that psychoanalysis is not included and McDougall's 'Hormic' psychology is grouped with Morton Prince under heading 'Purposive Groups' (McD.'s 2 chaps are called 'Men or Robots' (I, II) (the word robot having been coined only 5 years previously by Czech playwright Capek this was quite trendy of him.) Murchison's name does not actually appear on t.p., but he authored the Preface.
