Die Ränder sind leicht angestoßen, die Unterschrift ist sehr verblasst, insbesondere die untere Zeile ist schwer lesbar, Ränder knapp beschnitten. Die Abbildung selbst ist in gutem, sauberen Zustand. Die Abbildung zeigt Friedrich den Großen mit seinen Generälen und Prinzen, darunter die späteren Könige Friedrich Wilhelm II und Friedrich Wilhelm III, Ziethen u.a.m. Der gleiche Stich hing in Fontanes Arbeitszimmer. Eine frühere Version der Szene, ebenfalls gestochen von Clemens mit französischer Beschriftung und erweiterter Abbildung an den seitl. Rändern stammt aus dem Jahr 1787.
