Manuscript, in 19th century folder, Cornelis Jacobus Gonnet (1844-1926) was archivist of Haarlem, the Province of Noord Holland and of the Nationaal Archief. He was historian and a leading writer on the history of Haarlem. This manuscript contains handwritten information regarding: Het Hof te Aalbertsberg (Aelbrechtsberg), Elswout, Huyssenburg, Saxenburg, Huis te Vogelenzang, and a large collection of little notecards with information concerning the mentioned subjects. These notes were possibly used for articles written by Gonnet, for instance in Jaarboek Haerlem. Unique document of a leading historian.
