From the preface: "This little book (the title of which must be taken as expressing aspiration rather than assertion) is a fruit of many years' work in preparing candidates for Confirmation. During the past few years the Instructions have been fully written out and a copy given to each member of the classes. In the past year they have been carefully revised, slightly enlarged, and copied by a typist. Friends of mature age, both clerical and lay, who have seen them in this form, have urged publication. Hence the present volume." || The book is on the shelf, ready to be appropriately packed, and posted from the pastoral paradise of Peasedown St. John, Bath, by a real bookseller in a real book shop - with my personal guarantee and beady eye on the Consumer Contracts Regulations. REMEMBER! Buying my copy means the book shop Jack Russells get their supper! My Book #160879 ||.
