Table chronologique de l'oeuvre de Raffet. Bien complet de 3 Eaux fortes inédites de Raffet. Tiré à 300 exemplaires, cet ouvrage n'est pas courant. Les couvertures des deux ouvrages ont été conservées. Quelques petites rousseurs et traces d'humidité marginales néanmoins bon exemplaire pour ces deux volumes reliés en un seul et qui constituent la bibliographie complète et essentielle à toute étude sur Denis Auguste Raffet. Ex libris. Le dos de la reliure se détache par l'intérieur et le premier feuillet est désolidarisé.

Expertly rebacked saving contemporary gilt red decorative cloth with blind ruling and gilt embossed title and designs. Spine in five raised bands with gilt ruling, devices, and title on two. , These attractive illustrations were created in the process of daguerreotypy, an early photographic process, which came into widespread use during the early 1840s. The majority of the plates here are by Bry and Godard, though there is one by Lemercier. , Size : Oblong folio. (360x269mm), Illustrated with 71 sepia-toned plates including title page, depicting various views of Paris, its landmarks, and its surroundings. Near-fine condition, some scuffing to exterior and wear to corners, plates clean and crisp.
