The reproductions on the wrappers, two artworks by Jind?ich tyrský (18991942), the Dev?tsil-member, Czech surrealist artist, are from his erotic cycle "St?hovací kabinet" ("The portable cabinet," 1934). tyrský is also responsible for the overall typographical design of the booklet. Bilance psychoanalysy is Bohuslav Brouk's (19121978, ), an impassioned defense of the psychoanalytic principle in the arts, which denigrates a shallow and cheapened "Freudianism" practiced by greedy psychologists. Published as a private gift to friends and not for sale. Exceedingly scarce in the trade, especially in such good condition.
