Flexible leather. Zustand: Very Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Fair. Lois L. Lenski (illustrator). 1st Edition. See photos for condition details. Hardcover with dust jacket. DJ shows the date code of 30-08 on the front flap. Jacket is toned and scuffed, with numerous chips and tears (some of which measures several inches). Red cloth boards underneath are clean and the illustration strong. The only issue with the boards is some rubbing and bumping to the edges and corners. This is an ex library copy with the front pastedown and end page stamped stating Highlands School in Wilmington Delaware. There is also a faint stamp on the front of the dust jacket. The only other library markings found is also on the front pastedown, which contains a record of book loans to students, which was never filled out. The remaining unpaginated pages are unmarked and unaffected, including the rear pastedown. The "Never Grow Old Series" listing on the 2nd end page lists Lil' Hannibal as the last title, making this a bit of a non-standard variant. No trademark word appears on the front DJ (lower left) but the book copyright page shows only MCMXXX.

Paperback. Zustand: Good. New York: RCA Victor, 1939. Two 78 RPM records in a booklet consisting of two record sleeves attached at the spine, colorfully illustrated outside, illustrated in black and white plus blue inside. The records appear to be in good condition with only light surface wear, no deep scratches, but since we don't have a turntable we can't vouch for anything more than appearance. Some light cover wear, mainly edge rubbing, with short closed tear at the center of the spine where one record can partially poke through if it slides out of place, no names or other markings. Soft Cover. Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
