First, Limited Edition. One of 150 copies, signed by Gunn and Schuessler on colophon. Octavo. Tan, blind-stamped wrappers; eight unnumbered leaves; one inserted portrait. Printed on Hosho paper. Very Fine, free of toning or evidence of use. A typically beautiful production of the press. The poem is an elegy for Gunn's long-time…friend Allan Noseworthy, who died of AIDS in 1984; this was the first of Gunn's series of lyrical and deeply personal "AIDS Elegies," composed for his many friends and companions who had died from the disease. The elegies were later collected in his 1992 collection "The Man With Night Sweats.". Signed.
