In den Warenkorb"With an introduction by John Sinclair, former manager of the MC5. Quarto mimeographed production, perfect bound, with yellow covers adorned in blue blocked lettering. Spine split places. Text pages browned. 110 pages. Stories extolling the realities of America as seen through the eyes of a dope crazed maniac. Scarce original issue of this much republished cult classic. Here's an extract from Ed Dream Buys a Farm, 'Ed Dream pushed the big barn doors open and the morning light poured in. The cow mooed. She was in her milking stall. The bull rubbed his horns against the slats of his pen and the goat was eating some straw. The chickens squawked and laid a few eggs. "Good morning, cow," sang Ed Dream, setting a bucket under the cow and pulling a milking stool up for himself. He jerked the cow's tail twice. 'That's for good luck,' he said. 'I've never milked a cow before.' "Oh, brother, thought the cow, taking a deep breath and holding it. Now,' said Ed Dream, 'I guess I just pull your tits like this.: 'No!' shouted the goat. The goat took off his head. It was Harry Truman. Harry Truman was wearing a goat costume. 'No, you won't milk that cow, Farmer Ed! Wha? What's going on, Harry?' said the bull. 'What the hell did you take off your outfit for?' I can't just stand here and let this weirdo milk Bess. That's why, Bull.'". Book.

In den WarenkorbA nice piece of cricket memorabilia. The match, which Australia won, is remembered as Bradman's last test, in which he was bowled for a duck in the second innings, denying him a three-figure average. On a 16 x 11 cm leaf, removed from an autograph album. In very good condition, on lightly-aged paper. Presented portrait-style, with 'ENGLAND - OVAL - 1948' neatly written at the head. Beneath this, in two irregular columns are the signatures of the players, with the exception of the signature of Eric Hollies (bowler of the ball which dismissed Bradman in the Australian second innings), the signature of substitute Reg Simpson present instead. The signatories are, in the first column: Jack Crapp, John Dewes, Allan Watkins, Jack Young, Alec Bedser, Reg Simpson (substitute for Eric Hollies); and in the second column: Norman Yardley, Bill Edrich, Denis Compton, Len Hutton (captain), Godfrey Evans (wicket-keeper). See signatures of the Australian Cricket Team 1948, #14522 (above).
