The boards are fine, lightly rubbed to the corners, but there is a fair amount of rubbing to the spine. Interiors fine, with the map neatly folded with a short closed stub tear. Colonel Dumreicher served in the Egyptian Coast Guard's Camel Corps and is better known for his "Trackers and Smugglers in the Deserts of Egypt". This work, sponsored by the Royal Automobile Club of Egypt, describes the Libyan Desert (people, plants, crafts, agriculture, camels, hunting, fishing, archaeology, geology, tourism, routes etc) with proposals for its development.
