Hardcover. Zustand: Near Fine. vi, [iv], 104 pp., illustrations, tip-ins, foldouts; 4to, original cloth, dustjacket. The special Autumn number of The Studio, surveying developments in fine book design over the prior ten years. This is noted American book designer Lester Douglas's copy, with his bookplate designed by Rockwell Kent, and a few pencil annotations. Dustjacket possibly added later by Douglas. Short (3/4") split at lower front and rear hinge, light wear to yapp edges and title label of dj; interior fine; overall, a clean and sharp, near fine copy.
