Boards are damp stained, rubbed, and bumped at edges and corners. Sunning to spine and bumping and rubbing to spine ends. Red damp stain to bottom corner of a few pages near the rear. Offsetting from pastedown and and some staining to to title page. Coat of arms of the city of Canterbury to title. B&W photos throughout. Tipped in errata to p. 9. Laid in ad for "The Canterbury View Book" and letter from the Mayor and President of the Chamber of Commerce presenting the copy to an unnamed recipient, as well as a bookmark from The Little Stour Books in Canterbury. Contents include descriptive articles on the Cathedral by former Dean of Canterbury F.W. Farrar, on St. Augustine's and St. Martin's Church by Charles F. Routledge, and others by Sebastian Evans and Francis Bennett-Goldney, former Director of the Royal Museum in Canterbury. Also contains a list of the Chief Events in the History of Canterbury to 1900, and a list of the Kings of Kent.
