As stated to each cover, a number of the pamphlets were printed previously and are now in later impressions. Collection comprised of: Oxford Pamphlets 1914: Series IV; Oxford Pamphlets 1914-1915: Series XVI; Oxford Pamphlets 1914-1915: Series XVII; Coronel and the Falkland Islands by A. Neville Hilditch; Bombastes in the Shades : A Play in one Act by Laurence Binyon; National Ideals by P. E. Matheson; Canada and the War by A. B. Tucker. Each series is comprised of five pamphlets. Series IV is bound together in the publisher's original red card boards. The collection is also accompanied by a resourceful guide to the 1914-1915 series, also as a pamphlet, and four further pamphlets from alternate series, as listed. Page one of Nietzsche and Treitschke to Series IV lightly creased. First and last few pages of Series IV moderately discoloured, leaving the remaining text bright and clean, with only the odd spot.
