[ii], 110pp. and black and white chapter header illustrations by Timothy Abbott. Barbara Hallihan is probably best known as a writer of historical Christian fiction for children…and young people. Based on fact, this story is set in France during the 15th century and the persecution of the Protestants after Louis XIV revoked the Edict of Nantes. The book is bound in the original green cloth covered boards with gold titling on the spine. The case of the book is in very good condition with bumping to the spine ends and the contents are tight and clean with no inscription. The unclipped dustwrapper has shelf wear with light soiling and some foxing is visible on the flaps and the reverse. The top of the spine is bumped and there is a sticker with corrections to the publisher's details on the back of the wrapper. Timothy Abbott (illustrator).
