The album consists of about 100 photos taken in New York, opening with images taken at the Bronx Zoo and at various neighborhoods and parks in Queens (Flushing and Jamaica), followed by images taken at Bear Mountain, Rockaway Beach, and Valley Stream State Park (Nassau County). Also included are just over 20 photos of the same couple with friends taken at San Diego, Balboa Park, Buena Park, the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, and at La Jolla and Compton, California. All 125 photos are neatly mounted with detailed captions, presenting an optimistic "Those Were the Days" view of life in America just after World War II.
