Original publisher's cloth binding in yellow with red lettering; text in a Gothic font. Hans Guido Freiherr von Blow (1830Ð1894) was a German conductor, virtuoso pianist, and composer. In July 1882 he married the Austian-German actress Marie Schanzer (1857Ð1941.) Irene Eisinger (1903Ð1994) was a German and British opera singer and film actress. Her career was closely linked to the foundation and the early years of the Glyndebourne Festival Opera. Eugenie Schumann (1851Ð1938) was a German pianist and author. In 1925, Schumann published her autobiography, Erinnerungen (Memories) Very good-minus. Some rubbing and surface wear. Signedes.
