Zustand: FINE. First printing. Second novel by this young Scots writer - a story of the world of rock music as told from the viewpoint of an English musician as he is touring the US in 1970. A vivid picture of both the tour - the band, manager, roadies, groupies - but also of America in that year - the drugs, Black Panthers, and student revolution. Murray volunteered to be a roadie to a touring group, so this is written out of his own experiences. Fine in near fine dust jacket (price-clipped.).
