Mounted on illustration board, with a protective cover sheet. Based on the 1933 film "Viktor und Viktoria," directed by Reinhold Schunzel and starring Renate Muller. A groundbreaking film, one of the first mainstream comedies to center homosexuality and drag in a thoughtful (and hilarious) manner. Basis for the 1995 Broadway musical. Design approximately 17 x 11 inches, illustration board 20 x 15 inches. Generally Very Good plus, lightly age-toned, with brief wear to the cover sheet.

Academy Award-nominated costume designer Theadora Van Runkle is today best remembered for her work in the 1960s and 1970s, most notably "Bonnie and Clyde" (1967), "The Thomas Crown Affair" (1968), and "The Godfather Part II" (1974). Shot on location throughout California. Blue titled wrappers.
