Blue paper over boards with quarter cloth spine, Greenland's coat of arms and the Danish crown stamped in gilt onto upper board, 4to (12-3/4 inches tall), pp. [1]-63, [64 - index], illustrated with B&W photo reproductions throughout, text in both Danish and English, original wraps bound in. Volume with light wear and some fading to extremities, a black felt pen mark at top of front pastedown, some minor crinkling to eps, text is fine and unmarked. DJ is complete, but well worn with a large closed tear across the front panel, rubbing, creases and small chips. Published to commemorate the 1952 Danish Royal visit to Greenland with the King having navigated and arrived in his own "kayak" - the yacht 'Dannebrog'.
