Colophon reads as follows: This essay was read before the Sacramento Book Collectors Club November 9, 1962. Three hundred copies have been printed by Roger Levenson at the Tamalpais Press for the Club's silver anniversary celebration om February, 1964." Slightly darkened along bottom 3/4" of wrappers, else near fine to fine with no internal markings. Born in 1909 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Allan Ottley was educated at Santa Barbara State College and as a librarian at Riverside Library School. He became Senior Librarian in the California Section of the State Library of California. "It would be difficult to think of a person better qualified than Allen Ottley to write such a bibliographic essay as the Sacramento Book Collectors Club now publishes as a keepsake for thier Silve Anniversary."
