Based on the 1983 book "Very Much a Lady: The Untold Story of Jean Harris and Dr. Herman Tarnower" by Shana Alexander, about the murder of well-known cardiologist and best selling Scarsdale diet author Herman Tarnower by his ex-lover Jean Harris. Featuring brilliant performances by Annette Bening as Harris, the jilted lover of the manipulative Tarnover, played by Ben Kingsley. Nominated for eleven Primetime Emmy Awards and three Golden Globe Awards. Chris Scher has worked in American films from 1994 to the present. She was a propmaker, construction accountant/estimator/buyer, and carpenter on over 20 movies, including "The Last Seduction" (1994), "Pulp Fiction" (1994), "From Dusk Till Dawn" (1994), "The Horse Whisperer (1998), "Joy Ride" (2001), and others. She also performed the same work for prestige television dramas, including "The Bridge" (2014), "Ozark" (2017), and "Yellowstone" (2018). Set in Purchase, New York.
