Viktor Zamirailo (1868 - 1939) was a member of Mir Iskusstva [World of Art] from 1911 through to 1924 and was an active participant in the group's exhibitions. Having studied at the Kyiv School of Art, he went on to work closely with Mikhail Vrubel and Viktor Vasnetsov in the wide ranging realms of book design, church murals and metro station decoration.
