Matteo D'Afflitto (c. 1447-1523) was a Neapolitan jurist. Like most Neapolitan jurists of the time, D'Afflitto focused exclusively on feudal law and on ius patrium, the indigenous Neapolitan law. He was among the last adherents to an influential school of Neapolitan jurists that had provided Europe with volumes of scholarship on feudal law ever since the 13th century. His work was based on the Commentary of Baldo degli Ubaldi (1327-1400) on the Libri Feudorum, a twelfth-century compilation of feudal law provisions, that was considered to be one of Baldo's best works. This edition not in Adams. Condition : very good copy. Keywords : RECHT, old law books feudal law.
