There is a closed tear along upper edge of back cover, a little less than two inches long. Fits snug to boards. Pages are clean and bright, free of marks or tears. Color illustrations by Quentin Blake throughout. A very good, clean copy overall, with original DJ.

Very slight light scoring on lower cover, faint yellowing on upper cover next to spine, tiniest bump at head of spine, minute touch of rubbing to tail of spine, slight signs of erasure (pencil) on plain orange front endpaper, no inscriptions.
