A mystical adventure of an equally mysterious figure, Ship of Theseus is Straka's final book about a man who is struggling to discover his own identity. In den WarenkorbHardcover. Zustand: Fine. 1st Edition. This is a fine 1st printing of a unique book imagined by J.J. Abrams and written by Doug Dorst. Two fictions, the central Ship of Theseus by V.M. Straka, and the story within the marginal notes by two characters who read the Ship. Full of ephemera, postcards, letters, bills even a coded compass. All extras as published and in their correct positions within this unread book. No dustjacket, as issued, but present in the publisher's slipcase. Opened to confirm 1st printing. There is a barely visible slight impression at the top of the front cover, possibly yet another part of the authentic library look of the book supposedly published in 1949, along with aged toned paper and printed in foxing, library stamps etc, all original as printed when new. This book can be read in many ways but it is Abrams hommage to the printed word and a great journey through discovery.
