Dart, as shown by the bookplate under the front board. The dust jacket is shelf rubbed, edge worn and tanned and torn around the edges, but it remain whole and intact despite this. The boards are rubbed and edge worn but strong and sturdy. Internally, there are no other markings or inscriptions, and the pages within are neat and complete. The binding is secure. JK. Jacket unevenly sunned mainly to spine; a few minor creases. Slipcase toned and a little rubbed to spine but still in very good condition. Scarce.

Folding map with outline colour, 2 colour and 23 black and white full page plates, xii + 248pp, very occasional browning, very light damp staining in places on cloth but overall a very good copy in pictorial gilt cloth in slightly browned dustjacket. First issued in parts between 1928 and 1930 this volume presents the complete work on Skin-Boats in a single attractive volume.

In original paper covered boards each complete with paper backstrips which are frequently damaged. Free endpapers browned, some browning at staples. Very good copies in paper covered boards which show a little minor wear.
