Offered together with a photocopy of a 1943 autograph letter to Muir from this Canadian artist, primarily regarding the bookplate. It appears Smith produced it as a gift, without Muir's knowledge, and sent him twelve signed proof copies. Provenance: H.B. (Harry) Muir (1909-1992), bookseller, publisher and bookplate collector; by descent. [2 items].
