Handsomely bound in quarter green goatskin leather, with cloth sides foil-blocked with a design by David Eccles (based on plate 38, the hawkmoth), lettered gilt at the spine. The plates in this facsimile edition of The Surinam Album have been reproduced by digital photography from the original album in the British Museum, London, and printed at Cambridge University Press on Furioso paper.
