Complete set of the fifth volume of this extraordinary work on the evolution of cartography, reproducing the most important maps of the region. A complete set consists of 5 volumes in 16 parts. The first four volumes were edited by the eminent cartographer Frederick Caspar Wieder (1874-1943). The publication was undertaken and financed by the Egyptian prince, Yousouf Kamal. - Only 100 copies were issued which were not for sale. - Even single volumes are very rare on the market.
