An autobiographical novel based on many of Sousa Jamba's own experiences, following the path of a young boy brought up with his half-brother in an Angola torn apart by civil war. Woven into this vivid and sometimes bloody picture of a country at war with itself are stories of African life. The book has been read, but is in excellent condition. Pages are intact and not marred by notes or highlighting. The spine remains undamaged.
