Fente superficielle du cuir sur la hauteur d'un caisson. Signature manuscrite de l'auteur sur la page de dépôt légal. Exemplaire de Théodore Carl, Soldaademolher ou fabricant de soldats de carte, (1837-1904) portant son étiquette de bibliothèque. La collection complète de ses figurines qu'il dessinait, faisait imprimer et coloriait avant de les monter sur socle, a été achetée en 1955 par le musée de Strasbourg. Très bon exemplaire, sans rousseur, de cet ouvrage peu courant. Trois notes de la main de Carl concernant des costumes sont reliées dans le corps de l'ouvrage du T.II.
