With a frontispiece and one full page illustrated portrait of the author. A collection of children's stories regarding fox-hunting and country life. Written by 'Dalesman', a pseudonym for C. N. De Courcy Parry. Parry wrote several books on country life and had a regular column in, 'Horse and Hound' for 50 years. In a quarter cloth binding. Externally, very smart with some light shelf wear to the edges. A few small marks to the boards. Some scattered spots to the free endpapers. Author's ink inscription to the front free endpaper. The original dust wrapper is in smart condition. Shelf wear to the edges and chipping to the spine. Marks to the panels. Internally, firmly bound. Pages very bright and clean with some light age-toning to the edges. Very Good. signed by author. book.
