Extremities scuffed with some rounding and fraying to the corners and head and foot of the spine. Some soiling to the endpapers with a previous owner's stamp on the front endpaper. Interior clean and solid. Slight musty odor to the book.

Born in Poland, Hyman Chanover (1920-1998) was ordained at the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York in 1945.
