Buch Erstausgabe
Revised & enlarged edition. XVIII, (1), 226 pages. With one illustration. Black original hardcover and an illustrated dustjacket in good condition. 24x16 cm * The first edition of Barry Bloomfield's extensive bibliography of Philip Larkin covered the years 1933-1976. This second revised and enlarged edition covers all Larkin's published work to the end of 1994, including "Selected Letters" and "Collected Poems". The list of critical material is much extended owing to the explosion of interest in Larkin's poetry after his death. Every section has been brought up to date and the few omissions from the first edition repaired. ----- Philip Arthur Larkin (* 9. August 1922 in Coventry; 2. Die gesammelten Rezensionen erschienen 1970 unter dem Titel All What Jazz: a record diary 1961 1968. Jahrhunderts, The Oxford Book of Twentieth Century English Verse. (Quelle Wikipedia) Sprache: Englisch Gewicht in Gramm: 700.

8vo, pp. 17. Original illustrated stiff paper wrappers, lettered in red to front panel. A fine copy. First edition SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR. LATER HANDWRITTEN NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR LAID IN: 'Graham, A few for your collection -- + perhaps you may amuse yourself for 5 minutes with this pamphlet. Barry. 19 ii 96'. A fine copy of this affectionate reminiscence. Laid in is a later note from Bloomfield, written on the reverse of a flyer for the Wye Book Fair, held in October 1993 and organised by Bloomfield's wife Valerie. The note, written in 1996, seems to have accompanied a batch of the pamphlets Bloomfield sent to a collector.
