Hans-Joachim Schoeps, der als Wissenschaftler das universal orientierte Fach Religions- und Geistesgeschichte vertritt, hat jahrzehntelang Ernst, Satire, Scherz und Worte von allgemeiner Bedeutung aus weiten Gebieten der Geschichte und Literatur gesammelt. Er ging dabei von Anfang an subjektiv vor, und so gehört auch diese Sammlung von Gedanken und Zitaten zu den Bekenntnisbücherrn des Autors. Schoeps trug Worte und Sätze zusammen, die - da ungeflügelt" - nicht im Büchmann stehen können, nach Meinung des Autors aber sehr wohl geflügelt sein sollten: Von meiner Sammlung weiß ich bestimmt, daß die Worte nicht geflügelt sind und es wohl auch niemals sein werden, was aber nichts an dem Wunsch ändert, daß sie gleichwohl Flügel bekommen sollten: Ja, im geheimen habe ich sogar den Wunsch, diesen in weiten Kreisen unbekannten Worten zu klassischer Geltung zu verhelfen.".

Interior: cortes oscurecidos, sin otras marcas y en buenas condiciones. USADO / GEBRAUCHT / USED. Yannis Ritsos (Monemvasia, Grecia; 1909-Atenas,1990) fue un poeta y político griego. Su obra más famosa es Grecidad, la cual fue musicalizada por Mikis Theodorakis al igual que To Axion Esti de Odysseas Elytis. Tanto Ritsos como Elytis y Séferis pertenecen a la Generación del 30 y son considerados los tres poetas griegos más importantes del siglo XX, siendo él el único en no recibir el Premio Nobel de Literatura. A cambio, fue el único de los tres en recibir el Premio Lenin de la Paz. Por su reconocida militancia comunista, su obra fue prohibida en varias ocasiones en su país, especialmente durante las Dictaduras de Metaxas y de Papadopoulus. "Con devoción al autor ofrecemos hoy La 0lla Ahumada, poema-metáfora-monólogo, publicada en 1974 y que en 1978 alcanzaba la 151 edición. Seguimos el texto editado por la editorial "Cedros" de Atenas del año ya citado que contine leves variantes respecto a las anteriores y con la autorización de la Sr. A. Callanesi, por parte de "Cedros", quien nos animó a dar la versión castellana.
